These guys are better than my dealership! They worked on my 2009 Hummer H3. They were professional, clean, trustworthy and with great manners. The job was done to my complete satisfaction!

My first experience with Payne Automotive was in the 90's and the service was outstanding. Returning after ten years, and in those ten years I can honestly say I did not receive the quality of customer service Payne Automotive offers. I highly recommend their service.

I had my vehicle towed to the shop in non-running condition due to an electrical problem. Payne's Automotive correctly identified the individual part that needed to be replaced and did not charge me for any extraneous activities. Their techs seem to be top-notch. Through the whole process, Payne's was very friendly. The only caveat I have to mention is that these people are always very busy and you won't necessarily be able to squeeze you in. Make an appointment as soon as you know there is a problem and don't wait.

My last visit to Payne's started off great by having the most cheerful tow truck driver I have ever seen, which made it feel a little better that I was about to be car-less for a few days.They fixed the problem with my old car completely. They did not advise any superfluous repairs, and it seems they never do. When they call you with a price, that is THE price- you won't see other fees tacked on after that. They are honest, straightforward, they get the job done, and they seem to genuinely care.They have no competitors as far as I'm concerned- this is where you take a car if you want to be treated like a decent human being and pay a reasonable price. I am delighted to see such a high-quality automotive business on my side of town.For as long as I live in Houston, I will not leave my car with anybody else.However, I would advise that you make an appointment, because they are quite busy!

Terrible, very expensive service. Do Not come here unless you like throwing your money down the drain. The labor is very high and is done in a timely manner but if for whatever reason your vehicle fails as soon as it done being serviced these guys will absolve themselves of any wrongdoing and they will charge you for their mistakes (this included very expensive towing). Their is no guarantee that these guys will honor good standard business practices and allow you to return and fix whatever failed for free. Even if it failed withing 24 hours of you leaving their service shop. Avoid Payne's Automotive at all costs if you value your hard earned cash. 1 star out of 5.

I had gotten my steering gearbox replaced there 6 months ago. The steering went out last week and I dropped it off the next morning. They had repaired under warranty (due to a cracked housing) before Noon that same day. It's driving like a dreamYou can find place's cheaper than Payne's but you get what you pay for.

I've been a customer for several years. The guy who wrote the negative review is lying.The service is outstanding. They treat me as if I'm their only customer. All their work is under warranty.
