Texas State Inspections

Payne's Automotive is an official Texas State Inspection Facility and an official Texas Emissions Testing Facility. We are an approved facility in the Air Check Texas program and can diagnose and repair any problems identified during your inspection. A current Proof of Insurance is required and our inspection hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

*Please note we can only do emissions inspections on 1996 and newer vehicles with OBD II only.

If you qualify, Air Check Texas is a state program that can help you with money towards repair or replacement of your vehicle if your vehicle fails its Texas Emissions Test. Payne's Automotive can offer you information about this program and, if you qualify, complete the necessary repairs required in order for you to pass your emissions test.
